NCMMSC 2026 Call for Special Session Proposals

   The 21st National Conference on Man-Machine Speech Communication (NCMMSC 2026) will be held on November 5-8, 2026, in Hengqin, Zhuhai, China. To promote academic exchange in emerging research areas, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and facilitate deeper integration between academia and industry, NCMMSC 2026 now invites Special Session proposals from universities, research institutes, and companies worldwide.
1. Organization Formats
   NCMMSC 2026 supports various forms of Special Session proposals, including:
  (1) Invited papers and presentations on specific emerging research directions
        (with paper submissions following the regular conference submission process)
  (2) Expert presentations and discussions on specific research problems
        (without paper submissions)
  (3) Concentrated presentations of research achievements by universities or companies
        (paper submissions optional)
  (4) Competition activities
  (5) Other formats determined through discussion between organizers and the Special Session Chairs
2. Proposal Submission
    Please complete the Special Session Proposal Form and submit it via email to the Special Session Chairs.
    • The proposal should include the following information:
    (1) Organizer information (including a brief biography);
    (2) Title of the Special Session;
    (3) Objectives and significance of the Special Session;
    (4) Presentation information (speaker, title, and abstract). These may be tentative, and there is no strict limitation on the number of presentations.

3. Proposal Submission and Notification Dates
    • Special Session Proposal Opens: April 30, 2026
    • Special Session Proposal Deadline: June 15, 2026
    • Special Session Acceptance Notification: June 22, 2026
    • Special Session Paper Submission Deadline: July 31, 2026
    • Paper Acceptance Notification: August 31, 2026
