Special Sessions

Call for Special Sessions — NCMMSC 2026

The 21st National Conference on Man-Machine Speech Communication (NCMMSC 2026) will be held from November 5–8, 2026, in Hengqin, Zhuhai. To promote academic exchange on frontier directions, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and advance the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, the conference now invites proposals for Special Sessions from domestic and international universities, research institutes, and enterprises.

This conference supports multiple formats for Special Session proposals, including:

(1) Solicited papers and presentations on a specific frontier topic (with papers, regular submission)
(2) Expert sharing and discussion on a specific problem (without papers)
(3) Consolidated presentation of research achievements by a university or enterprise (papers optional)
(4) Competitions and challenges
(5) Other formats determined through consultation between organizers and the Special Session Chairs

Please complete the application form (Special Session Application Form) and submit it via email to the Special Session Chairs.

• The application should include the following:
(1) Special Session organizer information (including biographies);
(2) Title of the Special Session;
(3) Objectives and significance of the Special Session;
(4) Presentation information (speakers, titles, and abstracts), which may be tentative; no strict limit on the number of presentations.

• Special Session proposal opening: April 30, 2026
• Special Session proposal deadline: June 15, 2026 (Extended to June 30, 2026)
• Special Session acceptance notification: June 22, 2026 (Extended to July 3, 2026)
• Special Session paper submission deadline: July 31, 2026
• Paper acceptance notification: August 31, 2026
