The National Conference on Man-Machine Speech Communication (NCMMSC) is an important platform for experts, scholars, and researchers in the field of speech science and technology in China to conduct academic discussions and industry-academia exchanges. Since the inaugural conference was held in Beijing in 1990, organized by the NCMMSC Standing Committee, twenty-one successful editions have been held, making tremendous contributions to advancing scientific and technological research, talent cultivation, and industrial practice in the field of human-machine speech interaction in China. Starting from the 17th NCMMSC in 2021, the conference frequency was changed from biennial to annual, with the Chinese Information Processing Society of China (CIPS) Speech Information Professional Committee and the China Computer Federation (CCF) Speech Dialogue and Auditory Professional Committee taking turns as co-organizers. To ensure the smooth convening of subsequent conferences, we hereby solicit co-organizers for the 2028 conference from institutions in the speech technology field.

I. Conference Overview:

Conference Name: The 23rd National Conference on Man-Machine Speech Communication

Conference Time: August 2028 (specific date to be determined)

II. Responsibilities of the Host Institution

Conference Preparation: Responsible for overall planning, organization, and implementation of the conference under the coordination mechanism of the organizers.

Venue Arrangement: Provide conference venues and be responsible for venue setup and layout planning.

Website Management: Responsible for information publishing and maintenance of the conference website.

Guest Invitation: Assist in inviting renowned experts and scholars from home and abroad in this field to deliver keynote speeches.

Promotion and Publicity: Responsible for conference promotion and publicity, including but not limited to online media, traditional media, posters, and other forms.

Logistics Support: Responsible for catering, accommodation, transportation, and other logistics support during the conference.

Security Assurance: Ensure personal and property safety during the conference.

Others: Handle any other matters necessary to ensure the smooth convening of the academic conference.

III. Application Procedure:

Application Materials: Prepare an intention PPT (including proposed date, location, hosting institution, primary contact person and contact information, conference planning proposals, etc.) and other relevant materials.

IV. Review and Announcement:

The NCMMSC Standing Committee will organize an expert committee to review applications during the 21st National Conference on Man-Machine Speech Communication. The final results will be announced by November 8, 2026.
